My ten life verses

10  Deuteronomy 31:6 (ESV)

6 Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the LORD your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.”

This is the first of ten admonitions in the Bible to be strong and courageous. The second is in the next verse. See also Joshua1:7, etc. The last is by David to Solomon (1Chronicles 28:20).
The Defender's Study Bible.

Moses is encouraging these people not to fear the enemy tribes that are in the land. You will notice that he encourages this generation over and over, telling them to cross over into the land. He had lived through the experience of Kadesh-barnea. He had seen the older generation turn yellow and run back into the wilderness. So, Moses over and over again encourages this new generation to go on in, assuring them that God will lead them into the land.
Thru the Bible with J. Vernon McGee.

This is a great verse to call upon when you are in fear of something or someone. I have used this verse when I felt all alone, knowing that we are never really all alone as the LORD is always with us. He will be there for us if we call on him.

Billy Graham's Final Public Sermon (Camden Yards, Baltimore July 7, 2006)

This was the final time Billy Graham spoke to a live mass audience, in public, at the Camden Yards ballpark in Baltimore, Maryland on July 7, 2006.

Initially we were told it would just be his son speaking and Billy would be there to give a brief speech before the sermon, however it turned out to be the opposite.Billy Graham preached a sermon entitled The Reason Jesus Came.

This video was posted on Billy's website for a time after the event, I'm not sure if they still have it up there but here it is. God bless.

Spiritual Warfare a battle every Christian must wage

By Moe Murphy

The Apostle Paul wrote his Epistle to the Ephesians between the years A.D. 60-62 while imprisoned in Rome to the Church at Ephesus. Chapter 6, verses 10-18 deal with Spiritual Warfare.

Every Christian, today is engaged in some type of Spiritual warfare. Satan uses every method possible to manipulate the believer into committing sins and falling from Grace.

Dr. David Jeremiah writes the following passage concerning Spiritual Warfare in his study bible.

"Make no mistake; whether they are aware of it or not, all Christians are engaged in a very real spiritual battle between two opposing kingdoms and those least in the know are often the first casualties. Paul provides believers a self defense course in Ephesians 6 and Jesus equips us with all six dimensions of our spiritual armor....Using the armor of a Roman soldier as a model the apostle Paul describes how the Christian can stand strong in the midst of this ever-present , but unseen spiritual battle."

Ephesians 6:10-18New King James Version (NKJV)

The Whole Armor of God
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age,[a] against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—

How to be saved in Christ

To be saved in Christ means to spend eternity with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

If you have never trusted the Lord Jesus to be your guiding light and savior, you simply need to recite this prayer from your heart, and repent of your sins living a life of Love, Forgiveness, and Patience.

Dear Lord,

I am a sinner. I know I have fallen short of the glory of God. I ask you to come into my heart and be my guiding light and savior. I ask you to forgive me of my sins and help me to become a better person. I trust in your guidance and wish to start a new life today. I believe you died on the cross at Calvary to forgive our sins. I turn over my heart and soul to you and joyfully wait to inherit your Holy Kingdom.

In your Holy name, I humbly say,

AMEN!
